The slopes are not too bad, especially for someone more experienced than me. I would estimate about 15 degrees, but the slope extends into the pond, so I have to either turn around on the slope (going up and down) or mow perpendicular to the slope where I would really need the stability. Wheel weights sound like a good idea. Thanks for all the input.

It may be easier to mow the pond bank with a walk behind mower until you have a better feel for the new tractor. I would hate to hear about your tractor winding up in the pond.:(
