Same R3's or something new?

Well wish I had your problem.
My 18" R3 turfs are no longer in production (got last pair in Canada) and that with installation set me back close to $900.
They rapidly dry rotted (like after 6 months) and I am now stuck.
Threads have minimal wear but the side walls look like the surface of the moon or mars.
Goodrich, then Firestone now Michelin are of no help. Dealer rep did respond to email but never called back next day as promised. (did 3 email follow ups), guess they simply don't care to take care of a client.
Why then do they post email links? (to look good?)
Had I known of this lack of support I would have simply foamed my old (pre $900. outlay) and have been ahead.
Am I PO'd. yes for sure.
My choices now are to find 18" truck tires that respect front to rear ratios or to foam the Goodrich crappy tires that I laid out $900. hard earned $s for. (and that after taxes)
Am I PO'd? yes!
OK. so I have attempted to get quotes on foaming but so far nobody has come back with a quote.

PiLoon, with your back up to the wall, I would get the R2 tires. I see BKT makes them, I have got several pairs of BKT and been very happy with them. If the deep lugs are an issue, supposedly a tire recap shop will have a tool to shave down rubber, so Ive been told.
