And I guess that I don't think that $550 bucks a year is what I should have to pay to watch people help clean some one else's house when they can't even manage to trough out the trash, or have some one tell me that watching someone eat worms is interesting, Heck Gomer Pyle was a rocket scientist compared to some of these "People".

Maybe that's why there are 365,849 posts on this website. The trash on TV just isn't worth watching.

If it weren't for the rest of the family I could do without. A few NFL games here and there and until recently every PSU football /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif game would suit me just fine.

I just don't get the excitement of watching someone eat maggots and bull intestines, etc.

Dish has local channels now at least in my area. It did, as I said, require a new larger antenna. I think our bill runs about 55 dollars with the new service and rate hike. During severe rains you can loose signal, a good indication one is about to get walloped.
I don't know if it is worth it. I rarely watch TV but I do like to sit around late at night watching Discovery, Wings, History, FOX NEWS and stuff like that. I use the Weather Channel as well and I like getting local news for weather especially during sever weather. J

I wonder where we are going sometimes.

I don't wonder to much about where I'm going, pretty much darn near there. It's my kid's and grandkid's I wonder about. Sometime it's hard to see how they can have a life like I have been lucky enough to enjoy. Don't get me wrong I'm an optimist, just one without vision.

Ahhh... Well I have kids, one 5 and one 2.5. I have started to think about their future. But I would think that parents hav been saying that for a lot of generations.

A lot more quite around here now, I and the wife are liking it. I will tell you how the kids like it next week.

The one that bolws my mind is where they come and help you clean your house.

They should just say "if you would just through this crap out, your house would be clean"

But "no, I have had that stick since I was young, and there are not more sticks like it left, i have to keep that stick"

Oh yes, extreme machines. I was wondering if that would come up. My two year old son is fascinated by that show, as am I. The one I saw the other day had a swamp excavator. Think of the possibilities man! Love it!
