That is one of the shows that I will miss, along with Woodworking with David Marks. But I am not willing to spend the $ to get one or two shows.

Enjoyed American Choppers at first when they showed the actual build of the bike, but it has digressed into a shouting and bickering match.

Oh yae, I like mythbusters also, those two guys are having a blast.

Yeah Extrem machines is cool...
We have had DirecTV for over 2yrs and have had few problems with rain. it takes a pretty good storm to inter fear and even then it rarely last more than 10-20 min. Besides if its worse than that we shold probable be in the basement /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Just ordered a 35hr TIVO yesterday. WIll be delivered and installed next weekend.
I was kind a miffed about the 10day wait. they did not tell you that up front. I would have bought one locally and put it in myself had I known and told them as much. O' well at least this way the install is free and I don't have to by the MULTiswitch.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif which is 20-70 bucks....

One of my favorite new shows is on the Travel Channel - John Ratzenberger's "Made in America" . It showcases U.S. manufacturers and the people who make U.S. goods. They've already done Harley, Gibson, Craftsmen, Airstream, Gatorade, Spam, Louisville Slugger, Kelloggs, Crayola and many others.

Last Tuesday they did a segment on John Deere assembly of a combine - Travel Channel-John Deere . They even let John R. drive it! They will repeat the show on Sat., Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. ET

It is a very engaging show, gives some history, shows the manufacturing process and people directly involved with manufacturing. It's one of the few positive TV programs about America these days.
