SATISFYD Survey received one?

I purchased a new L-3540 in the spring of this year . Yesterday I received a survey in the mail from a company called SATISFYD asking a lot of questions about the machine, dealer, and me. Just wondering if anyone else had received one of these.
I bought the tractor from a local dealer in the Mid-Atlantic area. Oh yea they included a 2 dollar bill to fill it out, seems a little fishy.

There was a thread some time ago that dealt with surveys from manufacturers/dealers regarding buyer satisfaction. I couldn't find the thread, but IIRC, such surveys were more the exception rather than the rule.

According to their Web site, SATISFYD is used by dealers to evaluate buyers' dealership experiences. It seems to me that your dealer is trying to do a good job and your feedback could help him in that regard. Why not help out?

I actually received 2; one for the tractor and one for the loader (And $4 for my pocket ). Like the OP, I bought my 6040 in the spring and yes, I do intend to fill out the survey.

Those surveys typicaly go out with every sale, and somtimes at 2-3 years after as well.

Just curious. Do dealers opt in/out of this program? I purchased a RTV 900 just over a year ago and never received a survey form.

We purchsed the 3700 with backhoe and Fel and never even received a call from the dealer to make sure it was received okay. I don't expect a survey but a call or quick note would seem like good buisness. We purchased it in August but did not receive it until late October.

Thanks guy's for the input. I figured that is was ligit but the 2 bucks threw me a little. You know as there is so much of this kind of stuff floating around out there weither it be in the mail or on the net. Again THANKS:thumbsup:.

Token gifts are a means of increasing survey responses. I passed along my copy of Don Dillman's book on survey design and implementation when I retired, but I recall that he cited research that showed token gifts had a dramatic effect on increasing the response rates for mail surveys.
