Yep, summer just went away like someone turned a switch. Sure was a rapid change.
Hey, maybe not so fast! After a cool rainy week last, it looks like mostly sunny and in the 70s this week here! :cool2:

If there is anyone tougher than a guy working for a tree service company in Maine, I'd like to know who it might be.

My father in law was a power lineman for an electric company in Vermont for about 30 years. From his stories on how he would have to get transformers to where they needed to go in a snow storm, added how many days straight he'd have to work when power was out, I don't think a tree guy has anything over a lineman as they're (power lineman) is doing tree work all the time LOL

When we moved to SC, we didn't have air conditioning in our car. That didn't last long. Dad went to trade it in and they really didn't want it. Couldn't believe it didn't have AC. Told him it was useless. We already figured that out....

That's one reason why I drove back up to Pa to trade in my old car without AC for a newer model that had AC LOL

My old next door neighbor was the same... all I know is I never heard him say, 'gotta make hay while the sun shines'. He made his during the dark and storms. :D

I only worked for that tree company for a few weeks as they were just starting to make a presence in the area. In that short time though I almost got vaulted through the air like a human cannonball by a phone line; and watched the superviser set a power pole on fire while showing us how to climb and limb danger trees.
