Thanks for the comments.

South east of Flag, about 60-80 miles or so. Tomatoes grow well here, at 5000 feet. :) One of the landscapes is near a fire lookout tower, elevation probably about 6500 feet. The other is north of Roosevelt Lake, elevation around 2500 feet, about 30 miles from home.

Thanks for the comment. Photography is a hobby.

That one is from about 20 miles off, taken near a fire tower.

There are some exceptional pix in this thread.

I love the flagstaff area and was out there around this time last year. One of the few places where you can drive through all four seasons in a day. We have to wait the whole year to get our seasons.
The pictures had great detail and lighting, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments. I work under the "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while" theory.

The Flagstaff area is exceptional. The Grand Canyon is close by.

Here are a few more pix near my area. The trees in one show the effects of cattle and elk. And some wildlife.

Reb, your Sheep pic reminded me of the only Ram I've saw. It was in Southwest Colorado. We also saw a Moose on that trip. It was in North Central Colorado.

The moose are relatively recent introductions to the state. When I grew up there there were none.
