I see your textbook definition to it. But i have to argue this whole thing boils down to tax dollars. If you pay i doubt anyone will argue but i may be wrong i seem to be often?
The tax dollars thing brings up a good point, how come if he wants to send kids to that district it will cost 7K/yr. I doubt living in that area that they will pay anywhere near 7K in taxes let alone one that benefit the school. My primary residence will give a few hundred of my home taxes to schools and between the 4 cars registered they may get another $60/yr. I know there is a matching funds deal i guess from the state, but those inmy opionion should be transferrable. Nobody wins (but the kids of course) if mom quits a 40K a year job where she and hubby both pay taxs, to stay at home and take care of the kids and then the state not only looses all income tax she paid but likely they will pay little to none as all will be dependant on the lone salery of the dad.
I better quit while im a head these lawmakers are so much smarter than us. Thats why they make the laws and we make the money to pay them and for the laws.
