Scroll jumps back???

Let's see if I can explain my problem.
Since the new system has been running, when I am scrolling down a thread and come to an attachment I want to view, after viewing the attachment (picture) when I go back the thread pops back to the top of the page and I have to scroll back down to where the attachment was.
Is there something I can reset to keep this from happening?

Is this explanation as clear as MUD?

I also have the same problem. When visiting other sites with the same software I do not have the same problem???
