Hey guys, especially JJ and MR, where do/did you get your steel for your projects?

Don't forget your local dump. Our dump/transfer station recycles a lot and they put all metal in one area. Amazing what you can find. I sometimes come home with more weight than I take to the dump.

Clint and I went to the local steel recycling center today and bought $30 dollars worth of steel. We got the following:
15 pieces of 1 X1 angle iron 29 Inches long
15 pieces of 2 X 2 box pipe with 1/4 inch walls about 9.5 inches long (good for going in two inch receivers)
2 pieces of 2 X 2 box pipe with thin walls about 24 inches long (good for going in two inch receivers.
Seemed like a good deal.
They place had a lot of other good stuff, but I had the Caprice and not the truck and Clint has not built my 120 X 70 foot garage like he promised.

See attached pictures.
