Seat just broke on my BX23

The seat deisgn could be designed much better but that is me. Wrong bolt and too many forces and torgues on a little 3/8" in or approx bolt.

I think you're dead on, Jim. I had the same problem, but once I stopped turning it in the same direction to pivot from front to back, no worries.

I'll have to mention this to my neighbor - I noticed his BX22 seat seemed a bit tight on the turn when I was using the backhoe last week.

Mine turns fine and all that, I just wish they would build one that would allow you to fold the tractor seat forward, when using the hoe, fold a seat down for it, in other words 2 seats. I hate having to get off, turn it around, turn it back around and get back on, other than that, not a problem............oh the latch on the bottom of the seat stinks, not the one in the front that latches to the bar, the one UNDER the seat that you have to push up on, anyone know why it is really there?

Is there a way to adjust, not defeat, the OPC, that silly little switch under the seat that everytime I adjust my weight in the seat causes the tractor to think I fell off the thing. Mine is very sensitive to movement.
