Seat switch on 2310

I also have a bit of a problem with disconnecting --even temporarily-- the seat switch; seems to be it serves a very useful function....

In looking at the new 2400 tractors, I see they've redesigned the whole thing: an exposed microswitch set-up which attaches to the seat frame bottom. When the seat is lowered, there's a positive displacement of the arm connected to the switch. I've asked Rick @ Northwood to see about the bracket that holds the switch as a potential replacement part, as it looks like a straight bolt-in for the 2300s. Failing that, I'm sure a similar exposed mechanical switch could be put together. One way or t'other, I'll have a similar set-up soon. I'll try to get a photo of the 2400's mechanism.

To me, the seat switch is a useful safety feature if you elect not to wear a seatbelt. I cannot fathom how I could get my hands or feet into mower blades or a snowblower if I am buckled in
