I had to switch to a track tractor. I have a Date Palm grove and the needles on the date trees are like a stiletto knife and as sharp. I was fixing flat tires on a weekly basis, Last set of new tires had more patch than tire. Nothing worse than getting all ginned up to spend some quality time doing some work then five minutes later you get a flat.
I read here that someone called these things the Victorinox Swiss Army of tractors, and that statement have proved more than true.
The part I like is sitting in the cab, hitting a button and switching buckets or forks, or cranes with the flick of a switch.
Heck with the Kubota I has just to switch buckets was a chore, lining up the pins just right.
Then I put this grapple on the Kubota and by the time the Kubota lifted the grapple it as nearing it's max lift capacity.
It was hard for me to get out of the traditional tractor mind set, but I don't plow or cut grass so it was a no brainer.
Makes quick work of clean up - I know that much . Spinning on a dime doesn't hurt either for maneuverability.
