While putting my fence line in, I hit an unmoveable rock or too... so I cheated and made the poles 'dead' men... as they were only like a foot deep. It was 3 board fence, and 2x4 no-climb wire, so it was fairly stout anyway, even with abad post here and there.

Sounds like my wife. This weekend, I was cleaning up the yard from a week of 'tractoring' at another property, and had a few impliments still on the trailer, etc I need to move all the impliments to the back of the pasture, but didn't feel like hitching/unhitching each piece.. so I trew on my boom pole, and transported each impliment quickly . I guess I drove past the house 5 or 6 round trips before i had everything put away, and tucked the tractor in for the night. Later at dinner with some friends, I come back from the restroom, hearing the tale end of the story my wife was telling " and he just drove the tractor all over the yard for an hour... "

Need I say more...

Harv,

I spent last summer (and will spend this summer) removing rocks such as yours from our pasture.

We grow rocks here in New Hamshire (aka the Granite State). Darn glaciers left all that Northern rock debris in our state :)

My Woods 9000 backhoe is slowly paying for itself.

Harv -

Thank God Man, you went home. :) I don't think my sides could take any more laughter. Great story, great storytelling.

Thanks for that, Harv. Great story told very well. The tears were from both, laughter and sympathy. Thanks for making the day for all of us.

I was pretty tuckered and sore when I climbed into the car to drive from the property back to our home in the 'burbs, and I was plenty stiff when I tried to get out again. But a hot shower and an enthusiastic 9-year old girl got my limbs working again.

Fact is, I'm not much of a dancer, but I was able to pull off a pretty mean Macarena, Chicken Dance and the grand finale -- the YMCA. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
