Yesterday I was driving through a new river front state park and saw two workers with an old ford compact and phd. They were getting ready to drill a hole for a flag pole, so I stopped to watch. I could'nt see a name brand on the phd but it was yellow and looked like a robust H.D. unit. The gear box was large enough to stand on, which is what one of the guys was doing while the other idiot ran the tractor. I could'nt bare to watch so I just shook my head and drove away

Yeah, I know what you mean. They send you out to do work with equipment that isn't up to par. A decent set of cutting teeth and a man wouldn't need to put any additional weight over the auger.
