No coating just an acid haze on clean metal. If I had some tank coat I would lay it to it. I like the stuff.

Got home today and cleaned the fuel bowl and grabbed the cub tank and headed off. Planned on (keyword is planned) getting the cub fired up tonight. Worked with a flashlight in teeth until I broke down and fixed some lights. Fuel side was looking good so I popped out the pan plug and changed the oil. Added coolant and it went on the floor. Rummaged through drawers until I found a 3/8 pipe tap and plug. Put plug in and filled radiator. Went to pull battery out of wd45 to put in cub. Figured I would start wd45 to make me happy but for some reason I have no fire. Nice... Put battery in cub and noticed radiator hoses pissing on floor now. No worries I'll just fire it up. Cranked for a bit and checked fire. None. Popped off distributor which is a PITA. Dust cover started crumbling but I got it off. Points look like poo. Said to **** with it. Put battery on charger hopped in truck (glad it started) and left. Couldn't win for losing tonight.

Tossed points in the cub and vrooooom! Wd45 trike was running good today. Worked it hard! Thing is a powerhouse. We are also organizing his barns. It was tugging bel airs, nomads, 60's ford trucks, some car with wood spoke wheels, and all kinds of junk around. (I'm not a car guy) I freed the wide front wd45 out of the barn it was in and put it in the hole where the others came from since there is a concrete floor and electric. Took some more pics.
