For my hunting, I started with a 4 wheeler, then went to a Japanese mini truck, and now have a 1994 Toyota pickup.
The 4 wheeler was easy to maneuver and easy to haul around since it fit in the bed of a pickup truck.
Later on I got the mini truck and I was in heaven. Riding in a heated cab for 3 miles on a cold rainy morning to get to my deer stand was really nice. But, the mini truck was a little delicate and old and things seem to break easily on it. It did not have much power, and mine did not have a low range. For me, it was easiest to order parts from Japan and the parts are expensive. Mine was a Honda and there are very few Honda mini trucks here in the USA. I would suggest that you do not buy a Honda mini truck. But, since you have a good dealer near you, that may not be an issue. I have heard good things about your dealer.
Then, I came across this Toyota pickup. I paid $2750 for it and it has a really nice home made flatbed on it with fold down sides, and a crane to lift deer. I spent about $650 on tires and a few dollars on some minor repairs. I did not license it for road use, but I could with a few more repairs. It is 4wd and will go almost anywhere that a UTV will go, and it has a low range. The biggest problem with this rig is that I can't haul it on my 16' trailer. I have to use my 28' gooseneck, and that makes a big difference when I go on my annual hunt in Texas, which is about 1100 miles round trip. Otherwise, I leave it at my local deer camp here in Louisiana which is about 100 miles from my home.
There are times when I feel that a UTV would be better suited for my needs, but for now, I'll just stay with the Toyota. And, I have ordered a 20' bumper pull trailer that should be better for hauling this rig.
