( Does the TC45 have enough PTO horsepower to pull a 15 foot batwing mower. This seems contrary to what I have seen otherwise on this subject. I thought 5 horsepower per foot of the mower was the rule. )
For a finish mower, I think 2.5 hp per foot is reasonable. After all, I have seen plenty of 5 hp self-propelled mowers with 21" blades. Considering that the 5 hp mower has to pull itself and the 21" blade, I'd think the TC45 could pull a 15' batwing. Honestly, I think I'd like to see it and try it first. I think it's possible, but I'm sure it would be "performance challenged" in some circumstances. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
For pulling a rotary cutter, I wouldn't consider anything greater than 8' on the TC45. That's about 5 PTO hp per foot.
