it was nice that you asked, but Muhammad was very smart to
keep this to tractors with a little leway for ect. or else it would
spin out of control and turn into a spamalot

Well I know not to bring up this idea again. Many people have voiced there opinion and I guess I was on the wrong side of the fence.

Muhammad had a great idea and it works very, very well.

**** I just reread some of my posts opion should have been "opinion" /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I would also like to add that this forum has expanded.

It's not just about tractors, there are other areas such as rural living.Alot of information is given in this area also.

VERY ,VERY well said. there are many topic discussed on this form that have nothing to do with tractors I.E. RELATED TOPICS it is a great place to ask questions on any topic, computers, cars, hvac, cameras etc. but it is not a politcal, religious or inflamatory forum. plus the photo section allows you to post photo of just about anything that you want . I say leave it like it is.

I was always of the opinion that over was the way to go.......that was until I had children!!! It seems to have that amusement park draw for the kids who, for some reason, only will spin the roll in the down direction. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It depends on how **** you are about things being close to the wall or sticking out into the room.

Over:

Under:

I prefer things neat and close to the wall, so "Under" is the only way for me.

If you buy the nice PRINTED rolls of TP, you must install them OVER to get the full visual effect. So I guess the TP Manufacturers prefer OVER.

My preference: Over. People seem to rub their hand against the wall when under -- which over time dirties the wall.

This view in no way should reflect upon my religious or political beliefs /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Asking a good question doesn't put you on the wrong side of the fence [that's reserved for insert your "favorite" group here wackos] - and who's to say you were wrong, more a matter [if I'm reading things right] of the risks outweighing the gains. If nothing else, there were a lot of good answers to the why [with insightful examples and everything]; I was quite glad the question was asked, and even if of dissenting opinion myself, happy to see insightful answers.

Now I must go ponder how to hang my TP so I can legitimately join the "heated debate!" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm a member of several other forums and one tractor oriented forum in particular allowed politics to be discussed in a seperate area. As stated above, the anger, and ill will spilled over in the rest of the forum. That forum recently went "poof" and many of it's moderators built a new forum to take it's place. One of the first things discussed during the creation phase, was whether or not to include the politics section. It was almost universal to decide "No way!" If folks want to discuss that kinf of stuff, there are literally hundreds of sites on the web to do it. Why add it to a tractor site? It really became a major problem at places I've seen it allowed. And it certainly did nothing to add new members, just caused many folks to leave with hurt feelings, or in disgust, neither good for a site's well being.

As to the proper way to install toilet paper, my wife is SO HAPPY if I remember to do it, she dosen't care which way it rolls, although my cat will unroll one installed over the top, so it tends to be installed under the bottom.
