Crown Vic

25-26 mpg highway, reliable and very comfy..

Yep, we have a 2002 model that my wife drives on short city trips a lot and it's overall mileage since we've had it is 20.384, but on a trip to West Virginia, individual tanks of gas ran 25 to just over 28 mps.

My brother bought a very low mileage 2003 model last year.

Lottery or not, its still alot of coin.

Two_bit_score- It really makes you wonder how America ever got built without leather and satellite navigation.

Wife's g-grandfather was a well known home builder in east Texas long ago. We ran into someone who remembered him and said grand dad never had any power tools. Only used hand tools. Of course, many places he was building didn't even have electricity.

The leather was on the harnesses and saddles, and the navigation was by the natural satellites in the sky ;)

You know who I have sympathy for? The semi drivers of the 30's and 40's. Cross country in a cramped tin cab with no insulation and not even a radio. Whew!

Can you even buy a truck without AC anymore?

A update to thread. Working 7 days a week. If horse show or lessons were going to happen had to be 2013. I had to much stuff in 2001 to even think about moving from one truck to another.
Printed a sheet of paper out that said truck cost me 10 times what horse did and please treat it 10 times better than they do the horse. Guess what truck came back in great condition, might have been better than when it left.
Also I pay cash for everything , not trying to brag but a $ 64,000 dollar check is not something I do every day. There is a lot of pain and work in buying, What I think will be my last new truck.
Thanks for everyone's camper 012.jpg input.
