Rat, I checked the Hilti web page for info, but it wouldn't come up with pictures for some reason(corny excuse, huh)I know the newest drill he got was a TE5 or TE15, but am not sure without seeing the picture.

I do not know the model or name of the Bosch drill we used. It was the smaller over the shelf model from Home Depot. They simply did not last in the app we had. Basically, we drilled 0.50" holes in 6" thick pads. We did 100's and 100's of holes with the Hilti, but that Bosch would only last maybe a couple hundred holes. Maybe my buddy got one that was underrated for what we were doing?

The Hilti anchors work wonderfully. We installed 1/2" anchors per spec. I have seen where a truck backed into the mail box, and tore it completely off the pad. The anchors held though... The steel base of the box tore before the anchors came loose.

I've used a air jack hammer a little. I understand, and have noticed what you mean about letting the hammer assembly hammer like it's suppossed too.

The HD near here carries the Hilti demolition driver but it is too expensive for me to even consider ($1400) but they rent them for $45/day. Lowes carries the Bosch demolition drivers and they are a lot cheaper than the Hilti but they are probably not as durable for professional use. I will probably get one some day though as I have to deal with a lot of rock. I wish my backhoe was sturdy enough to accept a jack hammer but it isn't.
