Seriously?! This slot on my L3800 isn't for anything?

That slot is where the hydraulics that come from the factory go on most L series Kubotas. Maybe the dealers don't install the same model?

Just walked to shop and checked my 07 L3400DT , slot was there opened (nothing attached to it).

Mine has the same empty slot but it is listed in the manual. It is for draft control if your tractor had it.

Thanks for looking, Boone. I don't have draft control and didn't order factory rear remote so who knows? Anyway this tractor is new to. E and I'll decide what I want/need over time. I think the advice of adding three remotes instead of just one is good.

Our L3830 has the lever for the rear remote there and slots for a couple more next to it.

Absolutely, spring for a remotes. You'll almost always need two remotes. But if ever you decide on a roll-over box, or just about anything, you'll need a third. And in 10 years, you won't remember that the third one cost a little more.

I have a third remote where I put my pressure gage. I had a gage fitted with a quick connect. So if ever I'm curious as to how much pressure I'm getting out of my pump - just plug in the gage and check it.

That slot If I remember correctly was occupied by the PTO lever on my L-2800. guess its different on yours. you could install and ejection seat lever there. :laughing:

Dang it! I saw that it was next to the 3ph lever and was going to come here and guess that, but you beat me to it! Now I feel smart, though.

That is where my rear remotes are. Actually that plate was replaced with a new one that has three slots for rear remotes but looks almost identical except three slots
