Service Manual for GC1700 series and Engine is awesome!

A question about the service manual. The regular manuals that come for the GC1700 tractors don't comment or explain how you use 1/4 inching for the 3pt system. Yet we know the GC1700s have quarter inching rather than position control. Does the Service manual talk or explain how you use/do quarter inching?
