Servis ID Question.

We just picked up this 7' servis for $500. It is in excellent condition and is quite a stout piece to say the least. The gearbox leaks a bit, but what quality shredder doesn't after a number of years. I'm going to put in some 90 wt and go to town.

I am wondering if anybody can tell me what model it is?

And why all the holes in the deck? Was it for a batwing also? I'm not sure how that would work, just kind of curious.

I'm also thinking about adding chain guards on the front to keep the flying debris coming my direction down to a minimum.
