My B2910 is stored in the garage. The ROPS have to be unfolded and folded with each use. Every time I fold the ROPS after use, the left (from the drivers seat) set bolt is hand tightened and easy to loosen. The right one however, I need a heavy hammer to loosen. The vibrations from tractor tighten the bolt. I do move the ROPS to loosen because there is some play but the bolt is locked on there. Any suggestions? I am starting to bend the top of the set bolt

Antiseize may work.

Can you replace the bolt with a high grade pin? Just a thought.

There have been post by TBNers that drilled out the holes and installed a 5/8" pin. I know, drilling is a no no. Since I do not lower my FROPs very often I have not made this change. I use the handle of a 10" adjustable wrench to remove both bolts. A large screw driver will also work.

I am not familiar with the folding ROPS but if it has a nut on it try replacing the nut with a stopnut (one of those nuts with the nylon insert in the end of it). That might keep it from tightening up.

If it doesn't have a nut disregard this post!
