I spent the better part of the day moving snow to get to the trees.
Got high centered a couple of times. It's a good thing to have more than one tractor and a great wife!

We are down to our last quart of syrup, so this coming weeks warm weather will be just right.

I get my maple syrup, the real stuff at the store, not many maples here in Oklahoma. Yours sounds real tasty! Aunt Jemima just can't compare!
You're not going to get Aunt Jemina at the store anymore...

My father used to make syrup most years when we were kids. Had some city cousins who'd grown up with the store-bought corn syrup with a little maple flavoring and hated the real thing. We thought they were weird.

That’s what I was raised on ….Auntjacornsyrup. Only the real stuff is allowed in my house now :).

Little bit of a long story - I grew up in upstate NY. We made maple syrup every spring about 50 to 80 gallons of Grade A "Fancy". But when the season was almost over and the sap turned milky, we would make syrup that was NOT Grade A that was sold to the candy companies to give "maple flavor" to some of their products. - That is what you buy at most stores

Your right, it's Aunt Pearl now, Pearl Milling Company. As I recall, the real Aunt Jemima was rather upset at that name change just to make someone feel better!
She died in 1923. Or did your friend Clair Voyant tell you that? :ROFLMAO:
