The builder was able to put up the barn while it was to wet to dig /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.
He liked doing it up front also so he could store some of the materials & tools in there for his convenience. Maybe soon, I will be able to keep my things in there too /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif.
The road did come out better than I thought that we'd be able to do. After it was ALL built up with shale, it rained alot so it was able to settle & pack in quite a bit which was good. When it first rained, it was very "mushy & spongy" & I was concerned that it was not going to drain well, but once it got soaked & dried a couple of times, it is pretty firm. The rain & truck traffic have identified a low spot that I'm going to fix. I made a "dip or swail" with the box blade last night to help the water drain from this spot on down the grade. Monday I'm having a load of #2 stone brought in to help build up firm up this area. The concrete trucks for the poured walls will then come in over it to hopefully help pack that in.
