Phase three...enjoy some awesome views of Mother Nature.:)

Its gotta be funny to some old-timers to see somebody like me getting such a kick out of doing a little "tractor" work..."Kid, I've done more real tractor work than that most days before breakfast over the last 40 years".

But I'm still like a kid in a candy store. There's something to be said for getting out on your own land and shaping it the way you want it. Working with your hands and your equipment out in the Great Outdoors. Growing up as a city kid (disclaimer: what we call a "city" in Kentucky doesn't always measure up to many peoples' idea of a "city", but anyway...) I can understand how working the land gets into the blood for generations.

That's a beautiful trail and nicely photographed, Lostinthewoods.

It's some time since I've been in your neck of the woods - went hiking around Natural Bridge state park with a girlfriend from Louisville a few years back. Sweet memories.

Lookin' good, Lost! I'm doing similar here in FL. As soon as cooler temps roll in, & my electric coop brings the juice to my new well, bon fires will ensue.

Looks like you're making some good progress. It's amazing what a tractor with a loader and a bush hog can do to clean up a place.

Hiking.

Riiiiight. ;)

Lots of beautiful parks here, including a number of natural bridge features. We used to go to a place on the Cumberland River called Rockhouse Bottoms. Its home to one of the largest natural arches in the country.

I'll bet you're countin' the days 'till they get the power run out there. I'm sure your going to have every bit as much fun as I did! Pictures are madatory.;)

Looks like I'll have to wait until Spring to light our bonfires. Its been so dry here for the past two months, I'd be afraid of burning half the county.:(

No doubt. Looks like you've been having fun clearing some trails at your place, too.

Not sure I'd have as much luck using your technique...The BX is pretty stout, but I just don't think it weighs enough to make the physics work for pushing over many trees.

Doesn't mean I won't try it sometime;).

That's some impressive work you've done there. And a beautiful place to call home.
