Personally I don't know your answer but I'd guess a 160 degree t-stat should be about it.

In answer to your question about why no one answers. - Most likely due to lack of knowledge on your product. And if you don't have any manual or anything on it considering it's a 1992 then you are probably out of luck just because a lot of folks have moved on from Chinese tractors in general.

a 180 * is what is in my 1993 chinese tractor

pretty sure one of the sponsors in the sticky's at the beginning of the Chinese tractor section can help with an answer, parts, and probably a full set of manuals.
