I so WISH that I had a picture of this. Couple years ago, near Christmas time, I passed a guy in a beautiful new crew cab dually, pulling a beautiful new (approximately) 24' 5th-wheel. Strapped to the back, with a couple of clean, new 4" straps - and I mean dead center on the trailer - was a beautiful new Fisher Price Barbie Power Wheel Jeep. Nothing else. Not a single other thing. Just that pink Barbie Jeep sitting proudly as any high dollar load, square over the trailer axles underneath a couple of pristine yellow straps.

I knew some lucky little girl was going to have her heart soon overfilled with a Daddy's love.

lol. That reminds me of the time I was driving from Kansas to Arkansas about 4 months ago. I was in my truck about 20 miles from Oklahoma City following a semi pulling a trailer with nothing on it but a little Tonka Dump Truck and one of those Remote control Toy Excavators. lol

Wish I could've got a pic of it. But I didn't have my camera with me and I didn't want to be distracted taking those pics.

But that was so cool seeing those little toys being hauled on a big semi trailer.

When I pulled a flatbed, I kept a Tonka Toy Dump Truck in the side box, and whenever I was running empty somewhere, I would drag it out and strap it down. Keeps the kids on the road, and apparently the parents also...

A few years ago I was pulling my boat to Wrightsville Beach NC, it is July temperatures around 98 plus. Traffic gets real heavy that time of year. Sitting at a red light, pulling up beside me is a hot shot Sea Tow guy in his bright Yellow Boat. Light turns green ( he has roller trailer, no winch strap ) he hits the gas and very nice 22 to 24 center console with twin Yamaha land in the middle of very busy intersection. Fiberglass and yellow gel-coat go flying. I still remember look on his face as I pulled aweigh.
He did have outboards trimmed up and no damage to them. I would have hated to have to call owner and explain that one.

Hope fully he had good insurance.

I was at Lowes today. Some guy had a 2 axle landscape trailer. As I was walking in they slid some sub flooring onto the trailer from a forklift. When I cam out they a thing of OSB or plywood on top of that. I thought the guy was getting ready to leave because he had a strap wrapped down through a standard loop like you do a chain. You know the strap is going to have a nice rub mark in it. As I was leaving they came back out with the forklift and more OSB or plywood. He must have had a stack on that trailer 6.5' or 7' tall. I bet is was a nice top heavy load.

At the auction, the two engines in the bed had it down to the bump stops.

No brakes on trailer either.

He slid part way into the intersection.

Oh, for a camera. I was heading to work on a two lane road and noticed a truck coming from the opposite direction trailing smoke...seemed odd for a newer Dodge. Turns out the smoke wasn't coming from the truck. As he passed I noticed the driver's side tire on his utility trailer had a locked wheel and what remained of the tire was wadded into the bent fender with some of it still grinding on the asphault and the brake hub putting off a spectacular display of sparks.

No spare. Guess he was close to home. Oklahoma....

That thing will be worth some serious change should Hollywood make Gilligan's Island.

The worst location to place weight on a motorcycle is high and rear, especially behind the rear axle.
