I wish this clip was a few seconds longer,I think he's cementing the side of the road. I know a guy that had the same thing happen with a fertilizer tender going up a similar steep hill.

I need a bigger trailer. By the time I put my bush hog on there I'm sticking way off the back. Plus I'm pushing the weight limit.

It may be legal where you are, but around here I wouldn't dream of moving off the farm with an unsupported implement hanging off the back of a trailer. I pay too much in tax already..... :greedy: :greedy: :greedy:

For those occasional long loads I wonder about using something like a hitch carrier with lights plugged into the rear of the trailer. It wouldn't have to carry any of the load, but just become "part of the trailer" so the load didn't extend back too far.

For those occasional long loads I wonder about using something like a hitch carrier with lights plugged into the rear of the trailer. It wouldn't have to carry any of the load, but just become "part of the trailer" so the load didn't extend back too far.
I would just get a set of magnetic lights (HF $10 special anyone?), put a "y" plug on them (or a vehicle side 4 pin flat on your trailer) and put them on the back of the load.
IIRC, anything over 3' from the back of the trailer requires a flag or lights in the daytime and lights at night.
