Barely used trailer for sale.
Apparently the mechanic working on the truck forgot that the emergency brakes were caged, the vehicle had been towed to the shop. He went to move the vehicle and oops no brakes.![]()
That just shows the power of disc brakes vs drums on a trailer. I have seen it happen twice myself.
Chris
The truck through the wall is from my old shop. The truck was on the fifth floor!

What was the truck doing on the FIFTH FLOOR!?!
And where is this. I would love to Google it and look at itThe building is built on a hill. The building is 1280' long and 150 or so wide six stories high. There are street level entrances for the fifth, fourth, second and first floors. locker rooms on the third and offices on the sixth. The large doors in the picture are on the second floor. Within the building are the capabilities to fix anything on a vehicle. Inside the building there is a complete engine shop, transmission shop, radiator shop, small component repair shop, electrical shop, glass shop, paint shop and a complete machine shop. In addition there is a complete blacksmiths shop and metal fabrication shop with all the fun equipment. About the only thing that cant be done is cast a block.
Trucks for major repairs, engines, transmissions etc are repaired on the fifth floor. On the second floor one of the shops has an iron top concrete floor specifically for tracked vehicles, bulldozers etc.
One of my last projects there was to design a complete EPA emissions testing lab. The dynamometer can take a 100000lb truck to 85mph and test the emissions along the way.
The building also houses all the building trades to repair and maintain over seventy locations throughout the city.
Was a great thirty years working there![]()
