I'm surprised that burban fit between the fenders. Did yall measure it or just try your luck?I was thinking about that the entire trip. Believe me. What I really need to do is retire this thing. It's had a long service life. Lol.

You risked fines and everyone on the roads life to save a buddy a $100 towing bill? Long ago I gave up helping people save $50-$100 towing bill as no good deed goes unpunished.Well, today the idiot was myself. I had to pick up a friends busted down 2500 suburban 65 miles away. My little trailer was under built for this task but I risked it anyway. It's an old trailer probably 15 years or better. 2-3500lb axles and a 16 foot deck, no trailer brakes either. I made it, but the trailer was not happy!!
I can't wait until I can get a new 24 foot Gooseneck.
Transmission went out, I only had reverse, is why I loaded it that way.

Soft straps are too light duty in This application but I didn't have chains and binders.

I'm ready to get flamed for this! I won't do it again. But "if it fits, it ships" LOL!
The real irony of the video;
I was thinking about this thread on the weekend...no pics, but years ago, I hauled all my household stuff in a rented truck from Seattle, WA to Columbus, OH. All my stuff was packed in, around and over a Honda Civic, which was just parked in the truck with no straps or anchoring of any kind. In retrospect, maybe not good practice.
