I’d take my chances doing that over riding a motorcycle any day.
To each their own, I guess. At least on a bike you have some control over what happens.

30 years ago I rode 50 miles in the back of a high sided stepside pickup with an angus cow in the back. It was well below zero. She was trying to leap out and in tying her tighter she pinned me in the corner and it was easier to just stay put for the ride. Wife drove, I hunkered down and I never owned a second angus anything again. While I didn't think it dumb or unsafe then and still don't, today I would pay a hauler to go get it.
