I was thinking more like they had 4 guys and only a regular cab truck.

I just figured the air was fresher back there, even with the exhaust.

Either they got too many guys, he lost a bet, or he isn't allowed to smoke (tobacco or other things) in the truck.

I’d take my chances doing that over riding a motorcycle any day.

I wonder if it's running.

To each their own, I guess. At least on a bike you have some control over what happens.

30 years ago I rode 50 miles in the back of a high sided stepside pickup with an angus cow in the back. It was well below zero. She was trying to leap out and in tying her tighter she pinned me in the corner and it was easier to just stay put for the ride. Wife drove, I hunkered down and I never owned a second angus anything again. While I didn't think it dumb or unsafe then and still don't, today I would pay a hauler to go get it.

Mine doesn't even have a rops, honestly if it did I wouldn't put it up either, there's very few instances I can see rops being beneficial on most Z's

Come out to my place.

Naw, I think the guy was just making engine revving noises

Think that was a woman. Look at the straps on the tank top. I could be wrong.
