Parking brake does no good if the rear wheels come off the ground or lose traction.![]()
I just watched a local tractor dealer employee try to load a tractor onto the dealer trailer. Was coming fast on the loading dock and when the front wheels hit the trailer it lifted the truck and slid the trailer forward and dropped the front end of the tractor on to the ground from the dock. Don't know if there was any damage but they ended up loading it 20 minutes later.
I learned quick to block the trailer tires as that shouldn't be able to move while loading.
