Generally, you don't put a locker up front for an onroad vehicle because it can cause problems with going around corners, so I would be very surprised if Ford did that.

The Raptor has a LSD in the front.

The exception proves the rule. Generally speaking, a 4x4 pickup will not have a locking front differential. The exceptions are vehicles which are modified from the factory (as compared to "normal" versions of the same vehicle) to be very capable offroad such as the Raptor, the Power Wagon and a couple of Jeeps.

Yes, the average truck will not have a locking or limited slip front differnetial, a lot just have open rear diff.
There is a difference between a LSD and a locking differential.

You are correct. Ford does not offer a locker for the front axle. I don't think anybody does from the factory. Those are strictly aftermarket and for off-road use only.

I think Ford's e-locker rearend automatically unlocks at 25 MPH. Is that right Diamondpilot?

No, it stays locked.

GM uses a mechanical locker that unlocks at 25 mph wheel spin. Not speed of truck, just wheel spin. So you may still be stuck and it's locking and unlocking on its own as you cross the 25 mph threshold.

It's not a true locker but is better than nothing.

Hmmm, thought I read somewhere the Ford e-locker unlocked. Oh well, good to know.

After uprighting, it looks like only a few pounds lift on the uphill tire would roll it again.

Tricycle tractors need flat ground.

Think again ram has offered a front and rear e locker since 2005.

I do have a Ram. When I engage 4WD, some diff locks up. I don't know exactly what it is, but if I try to go around a tight corner, I can hear a wheel slipping, and if I accidentally drive on tarmac, I can hear the grinding/clicking of a diff.

That is normal with 4WD. You may also have a limited slip rear differential making it wind up more in 4wd.

Trust me if you lock the front and rear diff you'll defiantly know it you can't turn hardly at all in any type of hard surface. Well you can but I don't like putting that stress on the drive train. I only engage the lockers if they are needed. It is amazing the amount of traction my truck has with all four wheels locked in.
