Looks like no water anywhere near there yet.
Headed back for more diesel?
Continuing the haul to Lake of The Woods?

I need to redeck the dock before pushing it into its forever spot.

Looks like you need to get to it in that scrub brush. Where are the real trees?

I brushed everything in that photo out already. You're looking straight on down a peninsula from west to east that slowly gains elevation as you travel eastward. The trees you're looking at are red pines, white pines, black spruce, several natural jack pines, white oat and red oak. Elsewhere I have birch and polar. I have a zillion white a and red pine saplings coming in from Bedoura, the DNR nursery for Minnesota.

A quarter mile north of that photo is where I have been brushing the last couple of weeks.

I was thinking floating it to its destination instead of of driving it through the woods.

You have a nice place there!

The neighbor I purchased the clapped-out dock from is on the same lake, but that dock is definitely a sinker, not a floater and with the ice just out, the water is still very cold. For whatever reason floating docks are not popular in my area.

Wonder if when the ice forms if it might crush the floats. Or do you pull them ashore in winter?
