Where we live on the flat ground with few trees, maybe two semis a year get blown over on the main road from high winds. That's probably typical for anyone on the flat ground of the Midwest where the wind can really whistle through in the winter and spring.

The bridge is somewhat enclosed, at least compared to that Chesapeake bridge. Because of the truck volume, they'll only re-route trucks off the Skyway when it gets really bad. I've been up there with a light vehicle, does get "breezy" at times... wouldn't want to be hauling an empty box trailer.
