Went to the local contractor with my father, to pick up some compost and clean topsoil for his raised flowerbeds. Asked 2 cubic meter, the loader operator overshot with the topsoil and dropped an extra cubic meter.

On the scale, we topped 5960kg (13.139 pounds) without me and my father in it. The 2.5 TDI pulled off easily without touching the gas, just slowly releasing the clutch....

I've heard of stupidity like that from someone who witnessed it. Bozo1 - a really big guy - insisted he could hold the weight of an automatic transmission using a rope from above and lower it safely into the pit below where Bozo2 disconnected the last bolt. The rope burned through Bozo1's hands, guy below got out of the way as the transmission crashed and shattered.

Come to think of those were the same two bozos I wrote about in this thread a while back. Bozo1 had the engine out of his car, Bozo2 (guy in the pit in the story above) wanted to impress Bozo1 with the acceleration of his car towing Bozo1 to a shop. They used a long cable like in the video above. Bent Bozo1's front crossmember when the tow vehicle attained 30 mph or so before it got to the end of the the slack in the tow cable.

Later Bozo2 'forgot' to register for the draft, last I heard of him he was trained to be a Forward Artillery Observer. The guy out there alone where the shells are falling, calling back in the results.

And just remembered another Bozo1 story: Girlfriend's Dad discovered Bozo1 had been living under girlfriend's bed for a few days. Girlfriend was a minor....
I never heard how that turned out.

And still another Bozo1 story: Drunk driving, he sideswiped a row of parked cars, several. No insurance of course.

Both these idiots were acquaintances, they (and that girlfriend) were neighbors of a friend I knew. Friend and I avoided getting caught up in their idiocy, thankfully.

I moved the 12 foot long dog run to my daughters,, we have always used it as a chicken nursery.

I toted it with the tractor,, it is only 12 feet wide,,,

My granddaughter wanted to help move it,,,

She has a short attention span,, she wanted to chase the chickens around their cage,,,

then she wanted to climb in the Power Wheels, (she can not reach the go pedal,,, YET!! )

Since my daughter is just down the road,, we move a LOT of stuff with the tractor,,
almost nothing gets tied down,,,
