It would have been better if he had taken those front bales off and set them in the back of his truck, but those bales aren't going to go anywhere.

Maybe, the bales are in compression. That would be way more than many farmers I have seen carrying bales.

The only bales that had any chance of falling off was the front and back. I don’t see a problem.

Strapped like that, those bales aren't going anywhere.

The only thing I noticed right away and didn't like is that should the straps become slack, those hooks will let go. Probably good for that kind of a squishy load though.
