There was a truck for sale not too many months ago that looked like it was a former rental unit. I wasn't sure if it was U-Haul or Home Depot. Somewhat larger frame with a bed with low sides and some type of compartments. I didn't look too close because it was more than I could pay. One thing that bugged me though, same as the pictures above, was the height of the bed from the ground. That can be a real pain (literally) when loading or unloading things like bags of concrete. I prefer no more than a few inches above ground, maybe a foot or so. That's where a trailer rules over any truck. Problem with trailers (other than expense and having to have a truck big enough to pull it) is storage between uses. Even my stupid little tinker toy 4x8 utility trailer takes up ground space. Then there's the issue of backing up, which I hate to do even without a trailer.
