The picture says a 1985 van but the picture timestamp is 1997.

Yep... 1985 and parked outside in the same spot every night... original 305 V8 with the last carburetor and the only V8 available in California.

First thing I did was add overload springs. Scales in at 9k the way it sits which is over GVW

Thirty Five years later and two water pumps, one starter, two converters to pass mandatory smog testing and on 6th battery. Original drums and rotors.

Unfortunately several smash and grabs over the years

Yesterday going to work, traffic came to a stop in all 3 lanes of interstate in a usual backup spot. Driver of pickup in left lane was out picking up pipe that slid off his truck rack when he stopped suddenly. Traffic only got by in right lane.

That poor truck, the suspension is crushed. It looks like they might just be hauling a load across the property, which means they arent really risking anybody else's safety. Impressive stacking work though.
