That is insane and unsafe. The trailer is damaged for sure. The truck may be as well. It's not made to pull 70,000 plus GCVW.

Looks like the fool who purchased mine some years ago. Only difference is the color and brand of truck. He proudly told me he could handle it and he was only going a few miles anyway. Didn’t even make it off my property and had to pay for towing his truck and trailer as well as the hoe.

I wish you had photos of that! Did he break the truck, or bog down in the lawn, or what?

Actually I got a reaction like yours when I bought this second small Yanmar. The numbers add up to slightly under maximum allowed for GVW etc. The seller insisted that he backed the tractor onto my tilted trailer. But he didn't lift the bucket enough, so the front tires were off the ground as he got the rear tires partway up then a rear tire started to shatter the rainwater-damaged plywood deck. We got it loaded where no weight was on the broken floor, all was over the metal crossmembers. No problem.

Then when I got home my wife said he had phoned saying he was concerned, he was sure I must have broken down along the way. No, no drama, just a slow trip on back roads like this photo instead of the more direct freeway which was probably what he expected (and would have been extremely reckless). I replaced the rotted trailer floor, no other consequences. That guy is probably still telling stories about me and the little trailer.

I worked a case where a guy was killed when he was trying to retrieve an item like that from a traffic lane on a highway. He was ran over twice.

Had one fly out from a trailer ahead of me once. Not fun playing dodge the plywood at 65mph.

I dodged a flying shovel the other day. An underground utility company had one unsecured on the flat bed. It slid off and got clipped by the dump trailer they were towing.
Shovel got tossed into an F150 that was following the trailer to closely. Clipped the top of the windshield broke into to pieces. The handle went left into hammer lane. The spade portion went back and to the right. I was able to hug the hammer lane so the spade missed the truck.

When I went by the underground utility truck and the F150 were pulling into the break down lane.
