Since no static pictures were posted and I had to go looking, I found these .....

I'll hazard a guess that the green one is the Buster one?

No pics to prove it - pre-digital days, but I hauled an old snowmobile in a 1980's SAAB 900 hatchback - if you ever owned one, you know how much will fit inside of one of them. The track of the sled was on the rear bumper, but it was mostly inside the car. I took it on a 25 mile trip that day. I didn't have a hitch on the car, so it seemed like a reasonable solution.

We hauled an old MotoSki home once in the back of a 1962 BelAir station wagon.

Maybe not in degrees, but you probably could tell if it was warm or cold........Jon
