Ranch, same experience as Eagle1. Amazon delivers everything to the local post office for USPS delivery next day.

There have been a few mentions on this forum of shuttering the USPS, but this is really where they have made themselves indispensable. Not specifically Amazon deliveries, but in being the "last mile" delivery service for so many areas that those operating for-profit just can't touch.

I'm pretty sure they deliver to any street address just as well as USPS. They don't do PO boxes (I could be wrong) . Heck UPS was delivering when USPS and FEDEX said the roads were bad.
I just expect they want more than USPS to deliver Amazon Prime

I seldom see Amazon packages coming from USPS, very often UPS parcels are "last miles" by USPS. In my area we see USPS, UPS, Fed Ex and Amazon (once in awhile their truck but more often by their "casual" drivers using personal vehicles) often at extreme times very early or vary late.

The Amazon "causal drivers" are the managers fixing the problem cause due to the main driver not doing his/her job! Had this happened many times.

Around here they hire many "casual" drivers that will deliver a few packages on a desired area. My wifes grandson is driving for Amazon, their truck and he gets routed to the same basic area most days. From what he says the casuals get the longer routes with few packages.

There are some third-party seller items marked "Free shipping to Prime members", with huge margins on their shipping time, like up to 10 days in some cases. But those are more the exception.

Ordered something on 12/18 for which the latest delivery is "estimated" to be tomorrow 1/21. Then again every week I get an email pushing it out another week.

Wow, that's terrible. Much better here. I see more and more items with available "early AM Tomorrow" delivery options, like order at 10pm and it's on your doorstep at 5am, but they often want $2.99 for that service. The free shipping items included with Prime are never more than 2 days here, and an increasing number of items (35%?) are now 1-day.

We have two Amazon fulfilment centers as well as an Amazon large freight depot in the Little Rock area.

Quite often it's here next day depending on the item.

My pallet forks were here in 3 days. Same with a shed I ordered.

Other things have taken a month to get here
