Sharp pocket knife

I bought a Moore Maker longhorn trapper a few weeks ago. Really enjoying it.



I prefer a carbon blade. What y'all toting?

I much prefer a carbon blade over a stainless blade. D-2 is even better. For every day use I use a Gerber Superknife.

That has a replaceable utility blade right?
I'm really not sure if this one is 1095 or tool, but it sharpens quick to razor and holds it pretty well. A dull knife bothers me.

Usually a couple of spyderco's. Stainless. Also a Benchmade tanto. Sometimes junky pocket clip folders.

Bench made or Gerber tactical. Have a coupe of junk knives I abuse like chisels but dull blades bother me as well.

These do have replaceable blades. For every day use this is what I use. I simply don't have time to resharpen a blade after each use.

For dressing game I have a Dozier D-2 knife. This is not for cutting hay strings.

I have had some spyderco and gerber but never a bench made.
My daddy loves the replacement utility blades.
I have some meat only blades - favorite is a swayback jack cv case. Wife and daughter gave it to me, it is my hog castrating knife.
