I have one of those sears router bit sharpener attachments. I think my sister bought it for me about 30 years ago. I didn't think much of it at the time and still have it in the box. I'll have to dig it out and take another look.

I always use cutting oil drilling steel. The stuff I'm using these days is called Moly Dee made by Castrol. Smells bad but works good. Thick and stays put.
