Might work, but it's less obvious to me how to attach them and get the necessary clearance etc. I think I can just weld the skiis right to the existing skid shoes.

There was a post somewhere, perhaps on another BB on the idea of adding wheels. I think the fellow was going to use the guage wheels off his mower deck.

Hayden, I snowblow a 1300' gravel road with a rear 5' Lucknow blower. Try shortening the top link so the leading edge of the blower is tilted up slightly leaving 3/4"or so of snow behind. With a little cooperation from the weather I get a thin layer of hard-pack just covering the gravel, effectively burying those pin shearing rocks.
