Kubota really earned it's pay. had a blast doing this job. the shed is 12' x 16' (14' x 18' roof). moved it about 250' to a new base.

I love it. Hope you remembered your seatbelt.

That is ingenious. I've thought about how much easier it would be to build a shed by the house where I have all my tools and a level surface, but I had always thought about building it in pieces and then taking it out to the field and putting it together. This opens up a whole new option. I may try something like this.
thanks

A buddy of mine recently moved a small cottage from the bottom of a hill by a lake by building a new foundation and basement just behind the cottage, on the hill side. He then jacked the whole house up on 6 x 6 cribbing, six inches at a time.

Once it was at the height of the new foundation, he opened the front door, hooked a chain to a huge eyebolt in the middle of the floor, and dragged it onto the foundation with his L35.

Very impressive operation

First thing I thought of when I saw the picture was one of the old steam tractors with a full canopy!:D

First thing i thought of was the childrens book "MIke Mulligan and His Steamshovel" (or something similar). I figured ceh007's Kubota would be permanently converted to a heating system for his outbuilding. :D

Apparently great minds think alike! I had to relocate this garage about 1/4 mile. D

Since i built the pole shed, i had enough confidence in it's ability to retain structural integrety during the move. Critical to the process.
Thanks all for letting me join the group on a fun level. I'm enjoying the banter.

Where is the rigging to prevent this from tipping over sideways? Is it perfectly balanced or something? Wow! I guess you are removing some lumber to get out of there! This is awesome. Hahahahaha.
